ARTIST STATEMENT

Salvatore Siriano is a Chicago-based composer, audiovisual artist, and educator working with sound, video, and digital processes. Drawing on field recordings, electronic synthesis, acoustic instruments, and filmed landscapes that he captures and transforms through digital techniques, his work engages ecological systems, memory, and the relationship between physical and virtual environments. His projects combine natural imagery with digitally altered visuals, reflecting on environmental change, perception, and personal history.
